Most Squirrels cannot fit through the outer cage to get at the seed ports. This squirrel proof bird feeder holds quite a bit of seed. Attractive forest green color cage. Even the large Red Bellied woodpecker can reach inside and get a peanut due to their long bill. Visitors to this Audubon feeder include Hairy & Downy woodpeckers, Chickadees, Nut Hatches, & Finches. Overall it works as it is designed and keeps the squirrels out.
WHAT CUSTOMER'S DIDN'T LIKE:
Only small birds can access the seed port through the cage. Small squirrels and chipmunks are able to fit through and get to the seed. Squirrels have also managed to chew through the top tube and get to the seed.

The Audubon Natube 3 squirrel proof bird feeder works fairly well overall. It will keep larger squirrels and larger birds from accessing the seed.
